Worship & Music

At Congregation Sha’arai Shomayim, worship is at the heart of our community. Our Shabbat and holiday services blend Jewish tradition with meaningful prayer, music, and reflection in a warm and welcoming Reform Jewish environment.

Music plays an important role in our worship experience, enriching our services through congregational singing, cherished Jewish melodies, and special musical selections throughout the year. Whether familiar or new, our music helps connect us to Jewish tradition and to one another.

You do not need prior knowledge of Judaism or Hebrew to participate. Our services incorporate both Hebrew and English, and prayer books are provided. Visitors, guests, and those exploring Judaism are always welcome.

Friday evening services are held at 6:00 p.m. and are followed by an Oneg and fellowship. Shabbat morning services are held on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Throughout the year, we also celebrate family services, holiday observances, and special worship experiences for all ages.

We invite you to join us as we pray, learn, celebrate, and build community together.
